Then you are off to Wat Sisaket temple where you will find more than 10,000 images of Buddha. Your next stop is the famous Victory Monument, which is designed like L’Arc De Triomphe in France. It’s just a short drive to the spectacular That Luang Stupa, the Lao national Icon. You finish your day with a stop at the fabulous Morning Market an unforgettable shopping experience. 4. Over night tour to Vangvieng.(Trekking and Cave Exploring) 2days 1nights tour code: VV-NX2.4
Day 1: Depart Vientiane Capital at 10:00am in A/C van. Enjoy spectacular sights. Local rice fields, beautiful forests and rugged mountains. Enjoy lunch at The Vangvieng Restaurant on the bank of the beautiful Nam Xong river. Then travel to several caves in the area until early evening, then enjoy your night at the Vangvieng Resort., close to the Tham Chang cave also located on the bank of the Nam Xong river.
Day 2: Depart hotel at 8:00am, visit local market with a wide variety of products, then back to the river for swimming, tubing, kayaking, etc. Depart Vangvieng at 1:00 pm for your ride back to Vientiane.

5. Trekking, Boating and Picnic in Pakxan, Bolikhamxay 3days 2nights tour code: PX-NX2.5
Day 1: Depart Vientiane at 8:00 in A/C van, or cross the Mekong river from Thailand directly to Pakxan district. Enjoy lunch at the Nam Song See restaurant at the confluence of the Mekong and Namxan rivers, view the 2 colors of water joining together, Enjoy several sights in Pakxan, then visit the forestry temple at Ban Vien. This is the sight of the dragon rockets, this usually occurs in mid October at the end of Buddist lent, Then off to you hotel in Pakxan.
Day 2: Depart 8:00 am from your hotel. Then we take a boat from a nice sandy beach on the bank of the Ban Nam Phao river, view a typical Lao village, then it’s just a short 25 minute boat ride to the beautiful Tad Nam Phao waterfalls, then enjoy trekking around local rice fields. Visit a local handcrafted products sight until a picnic lunch will be served. Then it’s back down stream to Ban Nam Phao and return to your hotel in Pakxan.
Day 3: Depart Pakxan for 3 hours of trekking at Tad Xang, located 28 Km from Pakxan. Enjoy a picnic lunch, sightseeing and mountain views, then return to Vientiane or next southern Lao travel sight such as Khammouan, Savannaket or Champasack, or travel by car to Vietnam or Thailand. 6. Lak Xao Experience 3days 2nights tour code: LX-NX2.6
Day 1: Depart Vientiane 8:00 am in A/C van, travel along highway 13 passing many streams and river branches of the Mekong. Enjoy lunch at the Pak Nam Kading restaurant. Then we’re off to Lak Xao. On the way you will see the spectacular Pha Nang Hong. It has a steep trail to the view point where you can get a fantastic view of Lak Xao and the mountains on the Vietnam border. Then off to your hotel in Lak Xao.
Day 2: You will visit Tai Teng ethnic village, at a remote location in eastern Laos. This village will give you a unique opportunity to experience rural life in Asia, where things have hardly changed in a thousand years. They are a small but colorful ethnic minority group. Most of them live in Ban Nong or Ban Napea 17 Km. from Lak Xao. As well as rice farming they are known for their silk handicrafts. Then you will enjoy a traditional Lao lunch, you will travel along the road toward the Vietnam border to a hot spring located by Ban Nong. The hot water comes from the river bed and is piped to a series of baths. Then back to your hotel in Lak Xao.
Day 3: After breakfast you depart back to Vientiane, or you can connect to Vietnam, Thailand or southern Laos, Khammouan, Savannaket and Champasack. Your guide can assist you with future travel.

7. Discover Luang Pra Bang. 3days 2nights tour code: LP-NX2.7
Visit heritage town, ancient palaces and ancient temples. Located about 300 Km. North of Vientiane the capital of laos. Luang Pra Bang is situated at the confluence of the Mekong and the Nam Khan rivers, a great place to sightsee and discover the history of Laos.
Option one :Day 1: By airplane, Fly from Vientiane to Luang Pra Bang (A world heritage city ) the guide will greet you at the airport. You will enjoy a city tour. The town is surrounded by charming French colonial style architecture. There are many ancient temples such as Wat Visunnarad and Wat Xieng Thong. Then we will drop you off at the night market where you can spend sometime looking for nice hand made souvenirs, return to the meeting point and return back to your hotel.
Option two: Day 1: By bus Depart Vientiane at 8:00 am in Deluxe A/C bus. Enjoy beautiful sights along the way such as rice fields, ethnic villages, rugged mountains and wildlife. See the simple life of the villagers. Enjoy a free lunch at Kasi village. Then off to Luang Prabang. You will arrive in the early evening. The hotel shuttle will greet you at the bus station. You may wish to visit the night market and do some shopping.
Day 2: After breakfast you will visit Tham Ting cave by boat, this cave has hundreds of Buddha images. Then we will cross the Mekong to get on our awaiting transportation back to the town for lunch. After lunch you visit the beautiful waterfall called Tad Khouang Xi, where you can enjoy a swim in the natural pool before returning back to you hotel.
Day 3: You will have an easy day today. We will drop you off at the local market to do some shopping and enjoy yourself before return to Vientiane or you can travel to other countries such as Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia. Our guide can assist you with future travel plans

8. Visit Xieng Khouang Hero Province and the Plain Of Jars. 3days 2nights tour code: XK-NX2.8
Day 1: Depart Vientiane in A/C bus, car or by airplane. When you travel by bus or car you will enjoy a beautiful ride through rice fields, passing many beautiful rivers and rugged mountains. See many ethnic villages and experience how villagers live in rural Lao. Enjoy lunch at Kasi village. Then off to Xieng Khaung province. The hotel shuttle will meet you if traveling by bus or airplane. If traveling by car we will take you directly to the hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast we will pick you up and travel to the Plain of Jars. There you will see and can touch hundreds of these ancient jars. These jars are situated in different places around a large field. The history of these jars is unknown. Enjoy walking and taking photos until lunch. Dine with a view of The Plain of Jars. Then back to your hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast we will pick you up at your hotel and tour around Xieng Khouang province. You will see many ethnic villages where the Hmong live. Then you will have time for some shopping before your return to Vientiane. You may wish to connect to Vietnam or Houa Phan Province and explore the hidden city. There you will see the caves of the Lao leaders during the past war.

9. Discover Caves in Vieng Xay District, Xam Neua Province 3days 2nights tour code: XN-NX2.9
Muang Vieng Xay District (the hidden city) Discover caves in the area where former services such as schools, hospitals, markets, government ministries, a radio station, and military barracks were used during the war.
Day 1: Meet you at arrival at Xam Neua airport, check in the hotel. Local Lao food for lunch, take a tour around Xam Neua district, view the 32 year old hidden city that was isolated from other cities during the war.
Day 2: After breakfast depart Xam Neua by A/C van to Vieng Xay district , you will visit various caves that were used as a headquarters for the Lao Revolutionary Movement during the war. There are many new attractions opening, if you are interested in handicrafts, the region features some of the best textiles in Laos.
Day 3: After breakfast we will drop you off at the local market for shopping and go back to the hotel for your return flight to Vientiane.

10.Discover Kong Lor Cave, Home Stay (start & end Thakhek or Pakxan) 3days 2nights tour code: TK-NX2.10
What is Kong Lor cave? It’s a tunnel of limestone over 7.5 Km. in length, feed by the Nam Hin Boun river.
Day 1: We pick you up at Tha Khek or Paksan, then drive along Highway 13 in southern Laos, crossing high mountains with beautiful views while enroot to Ban Ha Hin. Then we proceed to dinner at Kong Lor village where you will enjoy home stay with local villagers
Day 2: Early morning an English speaking guide will accompany you along a short trail to the cave entrance, explaining about the forest and its wildlife as you walk, traveling by local boat you will explore the 7.5 Km. long cave. It will take almost 1 hour through, The boat will also stop for short walks inside to observe sandy beaches stalactites and other limestone formations. The cave is used everyday by local villagers as an access route to a village in the valley beyond. Early evening you will return via the same route to Kong Lor village or Na Tan village for home stay with local villagers.
Day 3: Before returning to Ban Na Hin you can explore the local village and observe activities such as weaving and rice husking, next you will visit Nam Sanam waterfall, your guide will assist you with future travel when you arrive in Paksan or Tha Khek.

11. Visit Tha Khek, Kham Mouane Province 2days 1night tour code: TK-NX2.11
Day1: Drive to Sikhottabong Stupa 8 Km south from Tha Khek, situated close to the Mekong river, it’s a historical monument constructed at the same time as That Pha Nom stupa in Na Khon Pha Nom province in Thailand, followed by a trip to a Buddha cave, view two hundred images of Buddha. This cave was just discovered a few years ago. Then the local villagers will escort you through the forest and along the lake shore to Nong Pa Fa cave where the more daring can take a plunge into the under water part of the cave. After lunch, climb the steps to the upper cave where a local hunter found a number of Buddha images while hunting animals in the cave, Return early evening back to town and your hotel.
Day 2: Tour surrounding Tha Kek municipality, in the dry season we can explore the Tham Xang cave that’s just a ten minutes drive from town, discovered in 1986 the local people found a stone head that shines in the dark when light hits it. then explore some important temples, churches and the local market for some shopping. Then return to the hotel, your guide will assist you with your future travel

12. Discover Savannakhet Province 2days 1night tour code: SK-NX2.12 Day 1: 8:00 am meet your guide on arrival for tour of Savannaket municipality. Visit That Ing Hang Stupa which is the most sacred stupa in the province, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant by a small lake at Ban Nong Lom, the guide will explain the story of the sacred lake and inform you about important taboos while trekking the local area. Learn about the ancient natural diet and beauty secrets that are still being used by women today.
Day2: Enjoy another day tour around the city, visit the Dinosaur Museum. Savannaket was childhood home of KAYSONE PHOMVIHANE. Your Guide will explain about his life, and the tradition of the local people in this famous town. Then it’s back to the Mekong river bridge check point.

13. Wat Phou Temple Champasack and Khonephapeng a large waterfall of Mekong. 3days 2nights tour code: PS-NX2.13
Discover the world heritage monument Wat Phou Champasack and Khone Pha Pheng a largest waterfall on the Mekong.
Day1: We pick you up at the airport or bus station, transfer to your hotel time to explore and shop in Pakse.
Day2: Depart 8:00 am from Pakse to the south by A/C bus or van, crossing the Mekong river and proceeding to the Wat Phou Monument. Discover the ancient monument and museum, the atmospheric heart of the Champasak province. we will walk around the temple enjoy taking photos and learning how the ancient people constructed this monument with large pieces of stone. Listen to the legend of the monument, then we go back across the Mekong and enjoy a tasty lunch at a local floating restaurant on the Mekong river. After lunch we depart to Ban Done Deng village where we will explore and learn about the fastinating village life, later that day there will be a plenty of time to join in unique village activities.
Day3: Depart form the hotel about 8:30 am to the south. Arrive Khon Pha Pheng waterfall. this is the largest waterfall on the Mekong river. Enjoy a traditional Lao style lunch then return to Pakse. Our guide can assist you with your future travel plans.
